Today we had a Valentine's party! It was lots of fun and it made our day to be able to spoil you and we loved to see so many people enjoy.
The craft table attracted a lot of attention. So many super Valentine makes. Enough to melt the iciest of hearts <3
The cake decorating cracked me up! I had special love for those who just sat and ate their cake, and then tried to eat the whole mini bag of butter cream icing. I mean why not?! Haha! Such fun!
So focused!
As well as the crafts and cake decorating, Tim treated them to some energetic dodge ball and races. Thankfully, no one parted company with their cake haha!

More Soap Carving
Sometimes we need to make room for other exciting events happening at the village hall and this was one such week! We moved our happy little group into he middle room of the building and made ourselves at home. We welcomed some new faces and managed lots of crafty fun and laughter. The soap carving was such a hit, mainly with me (haha) last week we decided to have another go.

Soap carving
Today we tried out soap carving. We grabbed a few bars of inexpensive soap and used the wax carving tools I had bought for working with polymer clay. They worked very well. A 7yr old, 13yr old and a 'rather not say' yr old managed the tools well and got some fun results. We plan on doing this again next week too!
This is Bernard's soap carving. He is 7yrs old. Pokemon theme. He enjoyed carving the picture into the soap and using the 'grown up' tools.
My effort with the soap carving. No idea what it IS but it was fun to do.
