It's just for fun. You can relax and enjoy.

Football skills takes place in the park opposite the

village hall.

Meet at the hall around 10am

Over in the village hall we will lay out paper, pencils,

junk modelling, card making, puzzles and other crafty

items. We try to include topical print outs and

welcome you to bring your projects or give us some

ideas. We have a sand table for the younger members

and a few toys we can make use of courtesy of the

toddler group. We like to see you pop in for a chat

too! Bring a book or crossword and find some time to

just BE. Wonderful if you are looking for a place to go

for yourself or to spend some quality time with your

family.

As well as all this! We provide tea, coffee,

squash and toast!

Our Aim

The aim of this group is to bring people of all ages

together. A fun, friendly, relaxed couple of hours just

for you.

You don't have to be artistic or creative-minded to

enjoy this group. Maybe you fancy a game of cards?

Scrabble? Read a book? Do a crossword? Do a

jigsaw? Do your homework? Update a piece of old

furniture? Try a new skill? Have a chat? See some

faces?

Drop in and see what we are all about!

Why are you doing this?

A lot of people have asked us that question. There are

several reasons.

First of all, my grandparents, Ron and Bessie Allen,

had a lot to do with the village hall being built.

I care about the place and want to keep it alive. I

want to see it used and enjoyed.

My own personal reason include the fact that there

have been times in my life when I have needed

support and a group like this would have been an

enormous help to me.

I was also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in April 2012

and I have spoken to many people with this and other

'invisible' illnesses and they all crave the same thing.

Support. Somewhere to go and share their

experiences.

I am reaching out to those who need support, for

whatever reason.

If you know anyone who is feeling

isolated and alone, please tell them about the group.

This is for everyone. Whether  you are looking for

some time out to yourself or wanting to spend more

quality time with your family. And of course, last and

my favourite reason is that I just love to be creative! I

love to see people enjoying being creative. I want

everyone to be able to enjoy it and that is why we

keep the prices low. We only charge £1 and you get

so much included! Not to say we don't appreciate all

donations of course and many people have been

extremely generous, including the village hall

committee and J&C Carter Printers who donated

boxes and boxes of card paper, glue sticks, pencils,

markers and so much more!
